Hand-cut Drop Pendants
Hand-cut Drop Pendants
Three sweet pendants with stones cut by Shaya. These are some of the first pieces from the newest collection of hand-cut, American-sourced gems.
Oregon Beach Agate
This sweet little autumn-hued agate came from a beach walk along the Oregon coast. The stone has a wonderful glow and beautiful white flecks and bull’s eye patterns across the surface. Cut to highlight the natural shape of the found gem and finished in 18k gold. Pendant body: .7 inch long by .4 inch wide. Total length with bail: 1 inch long.
Mojave Lavender Chalcedony
This lavender chalcedony comes from the Mojave Desert region of California and the stone contains a tiny cavern filled with natural crystal druzy. Cut to highlight this unique feature and finished in 18k gold. Pendant body: 1.2 inches long by .75 inch wide. Total length with bail: 1.3 inch long.
Berkeley Agate
It is not well known but Berkeley, California is a wonderful location for agates and geodes. I have a special love for these stones because I found them often with my family as a little girl growing up in the Bay Area. This is one of the first ones that I have polished, revealing a crystal interior that is just visible below the surface. A small portion of the rind is left on the edge to hint at its humble origins. This one is particularly difficult to photograph and is a lively, crystally stone in person. Pendant body: 1.2 inches long by .8 inch wide. Total length: 1.5 inches long.
