Gemstones are the inception point of my designs and the first thing people fall in love with. For this selection, I have chosen some favorites of exceptional color and character, perfect for the elegant, sculptural, handmade aesthetic of my jewelry. After you choose your gemstone and metal, we'll refine the details and I will make room for your input throughout the design process to be sure you get exactly what you want. The Stone

• Blue sapphire

• 1.56 carats

• Ethically sourced from Sri Lanka

• Natural and unheated

This sapphire! With a vivid cobalt blue, this stone has a hue that is almost reminiscent of a very fine tanzanite. It is a lovely, lively blue that dancer and sparkles with movement. The size is great too: the perfect size for an everyday or engagement, or to add color to a stack of rings.

Metal Recommendations

Each metal will bring out a different color character in the sapphire. My metal recommendation for this stone would be platinum or yellow gold to best complement the blue and depending on whether you want the warmer contrast of yellow gold or the cleaner look of platinum.

This gem will become a custom ring that I will make just for you. To order, select the metal you would like. After ordering, I will send you finger sizers to confirm your size and contact you to finalize the design details. Your ring will be finished in approximately 6 weeks.
