This beautifully hand-carved coral drop came to me from an antique Victorian piece of jewelry and is stunning in color and form. Often, this pattern of carving was meant to represent a pineapple, symbol of wealth and prosperity. Capped with my hand-carved organic topper in 18 karat gold it looks and feels like something from antiquity: luscious, rich colors and lovely a juxtaposition of textures.

*Please note: antique coral is extremely difficult to find in excellent condition and so is a very unusual offering in the collection. I will never use modern coral, which is collected from our fragile coral reefs and is extremely detrimental to the ecosystem.
